Following the hugely successful Act For Change Project launch at the Young Vic Theatre on the 30th June, the acting industry has exploded with discussions regarding lack of diversity in UK performing arts, and what can be done to change it.

However, for all the positive sentiments expressed by many in the acting industry, you only need to cast a cursory glance over the comments section of any news story on diversity to see that there is a huge number of people who are against seeing more minority performers on our screens and stages.
